17 week old constantly screaming

I’ve got a gorgeous 17 week old boy who’s just found his voice. I absolutely love this! We chat away to each other all day and night. My only problem is his ear splitting, almighty screams. Normally if someone isn’t directly playing with him st precisely that moment. Don’t get me wrong I love hearing my baby but my walls are paper thin and I’m worried someone will think he’s upset screaming! He’s never even been a cryer. The screams are seriously deafening but as soon as I go to him he laughs at me. Also he likes to do this in the early hours of the morning and big bro is getting disturbed sleep with school the next day, not to mention daddy back from working nights.

I can’t seem to put this in a way that doesn’t sound like I dislike him finding his voice lol. He will continue to scream at me when I play with him or talk to him but it’s in a playful way, not an “oi get here” way

I feel your pain. My bigger twin doesn't cry as much as his brother but when he dies it is so loud and he goes from zero to ten so fast in terms of intensity. I find it embarrassing when I'm out with him even though it might just be a 'pick me up' cry that I can't accommodate as I have his brother and a double buggy and it's too sunny! It also disturbs his brother if you don't get him away ASAP!

We have white noise on in their room, between them which can muffle the sound a bit or at least long enough to whip him out into the hallway, but otherwise the little one is just going to have to learn to sleep through it. (If he's awake he now joins in! 🙄)

He’s just attention seeking he’s learned ‘woah I make this noise my mummy will come and give me lots of cuddles and kisses’
Most people aren’t stupid those who have babies know the difference between an upset baby and an attention seeking one, so if your worried of ur neighbours and what they think they either don’t have kids or never bothered with their own to tell the difference

Tho nighttime can be a bit of a bother though esp if he’s quite loud so you’re going to have to think up something quick to get him to sleep through the night not to disturb neighbours esp if they are on shifts
