Is this a stage - does anyone else's son like girly things.

Don't worry to much, we had those same worries about future problems with DS1 when he was younger.

When ever I put make up on he would insist on having the same applied and was quite girly.

Now at 5 years old we get a very loud EEUURRGGHHHHHHHHHH at anything pink or remotely girly and he seems to have the testosterone of an entire rudby team raging through him.

What a lovely thread, love all these stories. DS1 is 5 and not long ago (ie a few weeks/months i think) wanted to go out (not to school i hasten to add) in the pink frilly skirt from the dressing up box.
I was OK about it but DH dissauded him...
I guess boys dress-up stuff is so dull! He's always liked dressing up in skirts (I mean out of the dress up box) and I think it's fine. I love the image of yr boy in his frilly cossie, mum2twins.

DS, 3, was still insisting on wearing his pink scrunchie when we went to M&S on Saturday - I let him choose from the selection of chocolate lollipops - and the Barbie one was rejected: they're for GIRLS.

My db used to wear nail varnish, and insisted that my dm took him to tap dancing to learn how to tap dance to the birdy song (bless him). He is now 24 & boringly normal, but it's provided me with plenty of blackmail material to use against him when a new girlfriend appears - as older sisters are licensed to do.
