Holiday with 10 month old

Looking for suggestions please, I was thinking of taking my baby ( and husband!)on a foreign holiday when she's about 10 months old. I'd like somewhere warmish (though not essential) with a little to do ( maybe hire a car - but unsure of how car seats work when hiring car), walks would be good, maybe a spa hotel so I could grab an hour to myself each day if possible. Im guessing all inclusive would be best as maybe she could eat a little of what's available mashed up? Or maybe a self catering apartment would be better? I'd really like to go as I work in a school, as when I go back when she's 13 months old I'll be tied to expensive school holidays.
Be interested to hear what other people have done/ was it stressful.
I'm aware of the tots to travel website but it's waay out if our price range.
Would 10 months be a bad age ? Oh yeah and she doesn't sleep now at 6.5 months. Little angel in the daytime though 👼

It was much easier on holiday when DS was 10m than when he was 19m!

Taking a car seat with you would be a faff but you’re not guaranteed a decent one when renting cars. A friend was given four to try in the car they’d been allocated and none of them fitted so she was stuck.

We went to Majorca, to Puerto Pollensa like everyone here suggests, and it was very easy with kids. 50 mins coach from airport and AI meant DS was kept in ice cream and fish fingers for the week so he was happy enough.

Also at ten months they don’t need food mashed up so things will be easier than they are right now.

We’ve been away with our girls a few times from 5 months to 3.5 - they are easier when they are younger to be honest.
We went to costa del sol benalmadena- 2hr flight, 15min transfer - nice & easy! We are trying Tenerife this year, my daughters will be 4 & 2 - I just try not to think about it & make it’s as exciting as I can otherwise they will play on me being stressed!! I would recommend a hotel rather than self catering, much more relaxing, it also gives you a holiday! And personally I wouldn’t hire a car unless you took your own car seat, after watching a tv program about how naff they are I would never trust one.
Make sure you have enough nappies, check if the hotel has bottle steriliser (if not BF)
You will have a fab time & enjoy yourself!
