5 week old falling asleep during feeds

Just hoping someone might have some advice from experience that they can offer!

My baby has a cows milk protein allergy and we switched to nutromigen 4 days ago from aptamil and he is so much more settled and his rashes have gone completely from his face and doesn't seem to be in pain after feeds anymore.

He normally takes around 4/5oz every 3 hours. What's worrying me is that since yesterday he is only having around 1 to 2 oz of his bottle and then falling asleep. After about 45 mins he will go back to his bottle and have maybe another ounce but then will fall back asleep. Last night he went back to it and had another 2oz which I was relieved about but then 5 mins later he vomited what seemed like the whole 2oz back up.

Does this sound like it could be the milk? I can't get through to HV but will keep ringing, and I'm also trying to get through to GP as we speak! Just wondering if anyone's little ones have been similar x

Also forgot to add I've been told that he has a really minor tongue tie, but the HV said not to refer as it's so minor. I'm wondering if this is actually the problem! I tried switching from size 1 teats to 2 but it's made no difference x

Hi, I breastfed my ds, so not sure how comparable??
But my ds pretty much fell asleep at ever feed lol, they pretty much only fed and sleep at that age and in different proportions. He might just not be as hungry, or sleeping bit more cos of growth spurt.
Is he still being weighed weekly?? As long as he's maintaining or still gaining weight it's fine.
My HV also mentioned that ds had a tongue tie and she was right it never needed any treatment or removal.
