DD's outside playing with worms. That's healthy, isn't it????

I've tried not to react otherwise she will relish it even more. I drew the line at bringing them in the house though. It is ok for a 3 year old to play with worms isn't it?

The neighbours have a recently hatched nest of baby spiders on their gate. Much time spent poking them, watching them disperse and then gather back into a tight group again by DD age 4. DD age 5 and that all important half did not want to know, however.

...DS2 (4) has taken to bed with him (in a jar... with airholes) a woodlouse, two snails and a cucoon, which is desparately hopes will be a butterfly by tomorrow morning.

I know someone who used to take worms in soil for a walk in a dolly's pram!! Cue much surprise by old ladies!

The first time I found snails in DDs bed I was horrified! Now I always check before DD getting in just in case she has left a friend in there!
