DD1 has Gog who is a boy younger than her. His mummy drops him off at our house first thing in the morning, don't know how he gets home at night. We even have to pretend to let him out of the car-so funny. Have noticed that when he has been naughty she tells him off in exactly the same way I tell her off. He moves house every week and his mummy and daddy are always ill. DD1 will be 4 in July and Gog has been around since she could talk at 20 months.

yes! my dd1 has an imaginary granny we get lots of details about where she lives &c. (dd1 has in RL 2 grandmas, a gran and a nan, but no RL granny)
she is also a bit of a soft touch e.g. my granny always lets me XYZ.
also "dd1 would you like some courgettes?
dd1 no I don't like them
me - have you tried them ever??
dd1 yes at my granny's house! and I didn't like them!"

ds1 has an imaginary 'old house'

as in "In my old house, we had a dog and his name was Butch, and Nanny lived there, and I had some sweets from Woolworths, in my old house."

Ds1 is 4, btw

We had an invisible Dora the Explorer staying with us when ds was 3. Was quite useful as ds hated going to the loo (quite happy to forget & wet himself) but if Dora went, so would ds. The monkey & Dora's brother sometimes came out with us as well - I once had to line up 4 chairs in a cafe so they could all sit next to each other!

ds enjoyed it, & knew all along it wasn't real so it never bothered me. He does sometimes mention his other home & talks about what he used to do when he was an adult, which is a bit spooky, but I'm sure it's just imagination.

ds had 2 Hum and Rom, we went through the hassle of leaving them on the bus and having to go back and get them off. He then used to go out flying with them every night apparently They died off when he was about 7 I think

DD is 4.5 and her friend is called little emmy (her name is emmy) and she has a mystical Aunty who she visits most days...

I just let them be and humour them, totally harmless
