9 month old flipping over in his sleep - advice needed!

DS started to crawl a couple of weeks ago. He now flips over in his sleep and I've found him a couple of times on all fours, almost asleep (but upset) and last night he fell asleep on his front.
I'm worried about the link to cot death and sleeping on his front. Should I turn him back over or is he old enough to sleep on his front now?
He sleeps in a pod, so I don't know if he's got enough room to flip himself back over should he want to (hence him waking up when he got himself onto all fours).

He should be fine. It's quite common for babies to adopt a sleeping position - on their front, bottom in air - as soon as they can! He'll soon learn how to roll back again too.

What's a pod? As soon as my dc could turn themselves onto their fronts whilst asleep, I let them.

Ds2 has just reached the stage where he can pull to standing, but not quite able to get down again, so we sometimes have to go and help him out in his cot. It's a phase.

Ok, so I don't need to worry then!
A pod is what we call his sleeping bag - it's a mamas and papas one and it's tradename is Dreampod.
Made me smile wondering what you must have thought it was

DS does this, I tried to keep flipping him back but it wouldn't work - now he sleeps in every position possible. The thing is, they move alot more now and roll back and forth, so not so dangerous.
