bit of a thorny one, i must admit but i do agree with whats being said - however maybe not as hard nosed!

what do people think about this, parents should take the blame for ill behaved children at school or the teachers?

Not looked at link, but on the whole some parents should need to take much more responsibility for their children's behaviour and do something about it - even if just supporting school sanctions. Very few teacher are only naughty at school IME, and of those there is noramlly an idetifiable cause which can be ironed out when parents and teachers work together.

A school only has a limited number of sanctions. If they do not recieve parental support, then those sanctions won't work.

Actualy suspect naughty teachers are rarely only naughty at school too

I think (although it sounds a bit of a cop out) but they should both shoulder a little of the blame - the parents in the way the children behave in general, but the teachers have to have a modicum of discipline in the classroom

to be honest i think i have to agree with you there!
