I'm due to have gallbladder surgery in two weeks and at the moment not only am u worried about the surgery but also my 5 month old whilst I'm in surgery and recovering and wonder if anyone has any advice or tips please with a) she is ebf but won't take bottle or a training cup - formula or breastmilk b) will only sleep on me day or night and nurses for comfort pretty much all night and won't lay in her sleepyhead or chicco next to me or moses basket c) am struggling to express much milk off to use as a stash after I'm recovering and really don't want my milk to dry up d) any other advice post gallbladder removal recovering with a 5 month old and a 2.5 year old... (my husband and family will be around to help). Many thanks as I feel like we've tried everything and we're now less than a fortnight away and health visitors have not been any help at all (was told my daughter would have to "cry it out" if I wasn't there and she would quick take a bottle if she was actually hungry....!

is there a reason your struggling to express? That is the best way to make sure your milk doesn’t stop. I’m the same with the baby sleeping situation. So I’m afraid I have no advice there 😢 my DS will sleep 40 mins if that during the day unless he’s on me and of a night. There are special teats you can get that are supposed to represent nipples which can be helpful. My son wouldn’t take any bottle other than MAM ones. All I can say is get as much help as possible don’t strain yourself as the best thing you can do is recover as quick and as well as possible. Goodluck ❤️

Ah thank you. I will give the mam ones a go! I've got an electric pump but I just think she is feeding so often that when I do try to pump there isn't too much left! Thank you for your help xx
