11 month old singing

This isn't a stealth boast at all I promise!!!
But is it normal for 11 month olds to be able to hum nursery rhymes? I never really took much notice to be honest, but now people are commenting on it in supermarkets etc!
Basically he makes an "eh eh" sound but to the tune of wheels on the bus and twinkle twinkle. I sing to him a lot, so it is really that unusual?!

I think babies and toddlers will absorb what they are exposed to, so I wouldn't think it is too unusual. Our DS was 'playing' on our Yamaha organ when he was two, and played simple tunes properly by four.

dd1 was perfectly in tune at 11 months with quite complex tunes.
Dd2 droned on one note throughout toddlerhood.
Ds never sang.

They've all got notably lovely voices from age about 6yo upwards.

Ah so it's not unheard of then! My 3 year old is a fab little singer and sings all day but she was more like 18 months when she sang simple tunes!

Do any of your lo's shake their head side to side when music comes on? My ten month old has just started doing this when music is on lol

Ds1 moved in time to music from being a very young baby. He could sing and sign a lot of songs from about 10 months. I used to get comments when we were out and about, but I don't think he was unusual. He still loves music now.

My almost 10 mo hums row your boat with an 'ahh ahh' noise in tune. I know a few babies who hum or babble a tune :)
