Hypermobility in toddler and late walkers?

My daughter is 22 months and still doesn't walk independently! She crawled at 12 months, cruised just after that and can take a few steps from the couch to me or my husband maybe 4 or 5 at most! She will walk holding my finger or with her dolls pram! But just won't take the plunge to walking on her own! She has had tests which have been clear so far and there is nothing they can tell us that could be wrong besides being hypermobile in her joints and some low muscle tone! She is also pigeon toed! Does anyone have any experience with this? I feel like I've hit a brick wall with the specialists and physio helps a bit but it seems to be what we do at home which counts the most! She also doesn't talk much maybe 2 or 3 unclear words! Thank u in advance for any advice or similar experiences Smile

Hypermobility may well be enough to explain late walking: if her ankles bend over that will make it hard work and may even be painful. I'd get it thoroughly checked out and push for a diagnosis.
