I am worried my nearly 13 month old has cp
At his ten month appointment I asked he would be referred to a paediatrician as he was refusing solids both by spoon and finger/table foods
He also gags on his own saliva sometimes
He also isn't crawling or bearing weight on his legs
He can sit unassisted and roll well but this came to him late about 9 months
He is also being tested for a possible mild hearing loss but keeps failing the behavioural tests
He also has an undescended testicle which we are waiting to be operated on
He also had silent reflux probably until he was about 5 months
He had very good fine motor skills and can copy well and is saying a few words but not clearly
I thought perhaps the aversion to eating solids and the delay in gross motor skills was down to his reflux but now I am concerned there is more going on
My waters broke two days before he was delivered by c section because I wasnt dilating and was also given a drip to induce labour which they had to stop because it was affecting his heart rate
I haven't mentioned my worries to the health visitor or partner family or friends because I am so scared it could be true
Has anyone else experienced this any help would be appreciated

I think that you should mention this to your HV so that she can allay your fears.
Please believe me that CP would almost definitely have been detected/suspected by a hcp prior to thirteen months.
Everything which you have mentioned sounds perfectly within normal parameters, except for not weight bearing perhaps but even that could simply be slightly later than average development.
Your baby was delivered via c section so less likely to have CP due to lack of oxygen during birth.

Undescended testicles are very common and completely unrelated to CP, my almost nine month old also has one that has failed to descend and the more people I mention it too, the more common I realise it is.

Are you suffering from anxiety? I only add because I behave very similarly, fixating on an aspect of my child's health/development when I am suffering from it.

Honestly, please discuss your feelings with somebody, preferably a hip and your family/friends. Don't go through this worry alone Flowers for you.
