Dummy only at nursery

Hi,
My LO is 17 months and has only ever had the dummy for naps and when she woke up early in the morning (before 7am).

She started waking up earlier in the morning for it so I decided to ditch it, which has gone well considering. We still have a bit of crying before naps but she's fine at night/ in the morning.

Problem is I can't see how we can ditch it at nursery for naps. Most of the other children have one and she's constantly asking for her dummy and trying to steal on while there.

Is it too confusing to just have the dummy for naps at nursery but never at home?

Although mine didn't have dummies, not for lack of trying on our part, I think she should cope with having one there and not at home. Mine always coped with having different sleep props in different places.

Thanks ladies. I do get myself in a real tizz over the dummy, especially because of speech development. She doesn't have it while awake when she's at home but nursery have given it to her much more than I'd like.
I've recently put my foot down and so she doesn't have it while awake at nursery.

However she begs for it all the time and steals them when she can. I guess I'll have to see how she goes with just the dummy for naps at nursery and no other times.
