I don't mind, and i knw the poor dear can't help what time he chooses
Just wondering if anyone else got a similar problem or any advice if any? ..

Has he had a change in diet recently?? Mine when babies would go through phases (usually coinciding with dietry changes) where they have bowl movements at stupid o clock, and then they'd decide to play once they'd been changed. It usually doesn't last long though.

If he's recently been put on solids (which is likely, given his age) he is going to have harder and possibly more painful poo. Especially if you transitioned from breast mik on its own to breast milk plus solids. Young babies on formula have more solid pooh to start with and aren't quite as shocked when 'real pooh' sets in. But breastfed babies are quite taken aback once you give them some stewed prunes or pumpkin...mine yowled for a couple of months everytime she pooed. Which meant, basically, that her main source of nutrition was breast milk up until 18 months. When she was 1, I took her to a dr and said: 'she hardly eats a thing, still just breastfeeds mainly'. And he said: 'don't worry, it's quite usual in 3rd world countries and they make out alright....'
I forcibly weaned DD at 18 months because I was worried by her lack of interest in other food, drink, and indeed, speech....don't know if I did the right thing or not. But she quickly adjusted to a cup after 48 traumatic hours, and really started talking soon after.
