Should I be concerned that my nearly 3yr old has no interest in playing in a park...

...Or using a scooter/riding a trike etc. He's never liked the slide, except to roll a ball or a car down it. We have a little climbing frame in the garden but he's never used it. He also hates little kiddie rides. He likes looking at them, but that's all. Also has no interest in bouncy castles or trampolines. Anyone else experience this? Is this something I should be keeping an eye on?

Porsmork your son sounds quite similar to mine at that age... I'm sure it won't be long before he starts jumping. Once mine started he just wanted to jump everywhere He was also very submissive at toddler groups when another child would take something off him he would just get upset. He's a little bit the opposite now, in that he tells other children off for even looking at a toy he's playing with We're still trying to find a happy medium! They're a constant puzzle aren't they.
