Well I've heard of invisible friends, but DD has got an invisible book!

. Any would-be/actual psychologists out there, who can explain why children like these invisible things? She's almost 6 and her invisble book is called "[her name] and the Onion Fairies" . She won't read it to me , but likes to take it out with her and refer to it occasionally, much to the amusement of her sister.

At least it's a book!!! Ds (6) has taken to "watching" (in his imagination) Scooby Doo on the wall during the week when he's not allowed tv. Hardly worth the trouble of banning tv....

my 3.5 yr old ds has a imaginary 'miniture daphne' (also from scooby doo) that he keeps in his hand. he takes her most places but sometimes he leaves her at home to have a nap!
