Tips please on how to get an older sibling off the dummy when his baby brother has one? They have started to "share" them! Thanks!

Oh following. Due DC any day and Big brother is still dummy laiden. Not going to try too soon but will soon.

My usual advice would be that the dummy fairy had to come to take the dummy away for a new baby - make a big fuss, like for the tooth fairy, leave a special jar with dummy and the fairy will leave a present inside... but as you have the new baby already yourself it might not be that simple. Bribery all the way??

Yeah it's harder as baby brother is now here. They have begun to "share" them!

Mil buys older brother new dummies every time she comes over. He now has about 40!! Not exaggerating! 😯

Santa will take it and leave a special present instead?

My dd was 4.3 when the dummy fairy came Blush
I'd just has a baby too so thought it'd never happen, I did the letter to the dummy fairy, posted it and hit her a barbie which we left on her pillow for the morning, I seriously didn't think she'd give it up but it worked, we had a huge dummy collection, still do as dd2 who's 15 months loves the dummy.
I'm still in shock that it was so easy as dd has cast iron willpower and expected it not to work.
Good luck
