Is this normal (repetition at 12 months)?

Hi, I am starting to become a little concerned about me one year old's occasional repetitive play. I know this can be somewhat normal, but I was wondering if anyone could give me some insight about whether this sounds typical or like something that should raise concerns. In general, his play seems pretty normal and he uses toys in the appropriate way, but he does like to put things up and down (example, move his cup onto a chair, then back to the floor, and back up again, etc.) or move his cups or hoops from one shelf to another and back. The most recent example is when I was getting his bath ready, and there was a toy boat in the empty bath, and while I was preparing other things, he took the boat out, set it on the floor, picked it up and put it back in, over and over again! It struck me as a little odd tbh, and I was just wondering if this seems normal or a flag for issues like ASD. He also is not yet pointing, so ASD has been on my mind since he turned one a few weeks ago, however he is very interactive and shows me his toys and definitely looks when I point and show him things.

Just wondering about your experiences with your little ones and whether I should be concerned. Thank you for any help.

Sounds perfectly normal to me. My three year old still does this and he has neurotypical.

Sorry,- he is neurotypical.

He sounds curious (as in enquiring rather than odd) to me. Nobody would refer or diagnose at 1 tbh. And nothing sounds off to me. Try not to fret.

Thank you. Feeling a bit anxious about everything ATM - maybe a bit of PND that started several months in. I appreciate the feedback and welcome any more thoughts.
