My 3 year old keeps wetting the bed

We toilet trained my 3 year old early on this year when he was around 2years 9months. It went very very well. However he was still needing a nappy on for bed time and it was still wet in the mornings. But they became dry so we stopped putting them on. But last few weeks he has been waking up wet! Shall we go back to nappies at bed time?

Yes.

I would and make no fuss. He's still little and he's shown he can do it physically.
Has something something changed that could be upsetting him or routine ?

Yes. Children aren't dry at night until a hormone is released in the brain, and unlike daytime 'training', there's nothing we as parents can do to control this. Lifting the child can help as it empties the bladder so decreases the chances of wetting, but it doesn't mean they're dry. I speak as my of dd,9, completely dry at 3, and ds,6, still in pull ups! Health visitor said lots of children are still wet at 6/7 and they wouldn't be concerned until child hits 7/8. So don't worry!!

Absolutely. He's tiny. One of mine wasn't out of pull ups until 7.

Absolutely put him back in nappies. As others have said it's entirely controlled by hormones and the NHS won't even bother with a referral before age 7 because it's perfectly normal for children to still wet the bed up to that age.

Yea it's been since he started nursery which he loves but I think I perhaps he's more tired and in a deeper sleep or something I'm not sure

My son was toilet trained by 2 (ish) daytime, he was in school before he was dry nights.
Nothing to worry about

That's normal. Lots of DCs wet the bed until much later than that. Night time dryness takes much longer than daytime. Wait a few months then try again when nappy at night is dry sometimes in the morning.
