6 month old, is it just teething?

my dd was 6 months on the 24th Jan, since the week before xmas her sleeping has just been so bad. She was never a terrific sleeper but I could just put her down & after 10 mins of whimpering she would be asleep. Always woke once during the night around 3-4am, I would feed her and after 10mins back to sleep until 7-7.30am. Then we introduced solids and everything has gone pear shaped. She was waking during the night 3-4 times and when I picked her up would have loads of wind. She has had a really red bum, dribbling a lot, pulling her left ear, chewing on everything..although she has done that from 3 months..and the last 3 days she has had explosive poo's. Bright yellow, really watery and all the way up her back and tummy. She also has a runny nose and some mornings at 5am her nose is blocked & will only sleep if it's on me or dh. Also a few times last week when she was asleep on me she stopped breathing for about 5-8 seconds then started again and was groaning??? Seen the doc 3x in last week & spoekn to mw all say it's just teething & babies always get funny tummy's when they are introduced to solids. If she is putting on weight she is fine...same old same old blah blah blah. What do you think, can teething last this long or could it be the solids was causing her to wake for a few weeks & now the teething is taking over..just bad timing? Any help is appreciated, I am so tired & can't let her cry it out..how do I know she isn't in pain. I couldn't let her cry if she is not well, we tried it once & left her for 15mins & when I picked her up she was sick everywhere, couldn't breathe & looked so scared. Been following the no-cry sleep solution but I think a metal rod is needed for my back it's about to break!

When I introduced solids the only thing that happened with poo was that it firmed up and smelt worse! It also knocked his sleep pattern. Also noticed that when ds is very dribbly (7 months and still waiting for teeth) he tended to get a bit of nappy rash and we go through phases when it seems to trouble him more (the teeth not the nappy rash). Try raising her mattress up at one end to help with the runny nose. Go with gut instinct and if you feel things are not right go back to your gp. Good luck.
