Constant night wakings

DD is 2 and a half and is sleeping awful at th moment!

Unfortunately her "norm" is one or 2 night wakings but the last week or so she is waking loads! It's almost as if she is stopping herself from falling asleep throughout the entire night.

She sleeps in a toddler bed (has done since November last year) so know she's used to that.

On some occasions when she wakes up she'll come to the stair gate at her door and call for me or her dad and when we go she'll run back to bed, no tears, no fuss. Almost as if she just wants us to go in just for the sheer hell of it.

Other time she'll call for water even though she has a sippy cup right next to her which she is more than capable of picking up and drinking from.

Other times she'll ask for the covers but again she can pull them over her easily.

She is waiting for her final 4 back teeth to come through but am not convinced this is the problem, at least not all of the time.

Any suggestions???

TIA

It sounds like she's pissing about for your attention. My Dd did this for a bit. It was so annoying. To be honest in the end we would kiss her goodnight etc, provide her with water and then tell her we weren't going to come back and we would be checking on her asleep before we went to bed. We then ignored her. She grizzled and made stuff up and then eventfully just gave up and went to sleep. My only advice is provide the normal things then ignore calling out

Has anything changed in her routine? Is she too hot?

Not that I can think of. Her bedroom is the coldest room in the house and we therefore thermostatically control the temperature in there. She was going to sleep wearing PJs and a beat underneath but have recently removed the vest due to the Warner weather which I feel is the right thing as where the temperature was at 17/18 deg at night in her room it's now been 20/21.
