My LO is 14weeks old and appears to have inverted nipples - will she grow out of this do you think?

Pls don't worry, might be that she is yet to fill out. My sil was worried about this and also that her dd's legs wouldn't be long and slim which I thought was ridiculous and now her dd is age 7 and has juvenile arthritis. She was worried about cosmetic stuff and not looking at how lucky she was to have a healthy baby. I am not saying you are doing the same but please don't worry. Congratulations btw.

Chicpea-appreciate what you mean, was just worried as I have flat nipples and had a terrible time trying to breast feed my LO - would be sad for her if she faced the same problems in later life.x So sorry about your neice - does she take take any supplements or get any complementary therapies to help?
Aloe vera juice, glucosamine, MSM, chondroitin, reflexology, aromatherapy, acupuncture could all help.

Hi Rumpel, I have flattish nipples which I was pleased about so that in a t-shirt I didn't have to worry about them being permanently on show. My sil was worried as I think she is quite sexual and is very proud of her breasts (with implants) and I think she feels that her dd should be the same. Sil is very showoffy and vain and I don't agree with her values hence her worry over nipples and her dd not having long legs. I am sorry you had a terrible time breast feeding little one. I completely understand as mine weren't easy to latch on to when breastfeeding so I gave up and expressed alot instead. Those machines do make nipples stand out which you may wish to try if you have another baby to get the right shape for baby to find it easier to latch on. Re: niece, sil tried chinese medicine and a strict diet as prescribed by dr which didn't allow dairy, corn, wheat, etc but didn't help so is now on other medication and has a cast at night to straighten out leg. It really is awful that a child has to go through this although I know that many children suffer with terrible illnesses. She lives in the States so has very good medical care and I think they feel they are getting the best there. I had never heard of juvenile arthritis until I asked a friend about it on hehalf of sil (but I didn't tell her what friend said) and she told me about a friend of hers whose daughter had chemo to kill the arthritis and then had ops to straighten her fingers. Terrible. Anyway, without giving you something to worry about, enjoy your dd!!!
