Craniologist

Hello,

I have a 2 and half week old son, who was born by forceps. My health visitor has advised seeing a craniologist as apparently this can help after a forceps birth, particularly if the baby is over hungry and a bit crouchy.

Does anyone have any experience of craniologists?

Many thanks.

Yes, I have three children and every one of them have had craniology for one reason or another, and i have to say that I would swear by it. It made my no. 2 child really well after screaming from morning well, til morning! for days weeks and weeks. I would defo recommend it. Just make sure you get a recommendation from someone about the best person to see. Good luck

Many thanks V. It is good to hear from someone who has used a craniologist as I had not heard of one being used for babies before.

My health visitor has recommended a good one, so I think I will give it a go.

good luck, let me know how it goes.

Good luck - really hope it helps. It did for my DS we had 3 sessions at £30 but would have paid double that as he is like a different child now! Let us know how it goes.

hi there you need a registered osteopath who does cranial work. the important thing is that the osteopath is registered with the general osteopathic council, you can find one near you on www.osteopathy.org.uk/find_osteo

are you in London?

If so I can really recommend the school of osteophathy (sp?) on Borough High street, south london. About 15mins walk from london bridge station - had a wonderful experience there when my son was 3 months old - had 2 trainees observing and the most wonderful experienced man who did the work, was gently spoken and took time to relax me and ds at a stressful time - very reasonable price too.

sorry - should add it was cranial.
