Siblings height difference

Not the biggest worry in the world but I have a DD who is 3 and a DS who is 1.5. DD is little for her age (25th centile), and DS very tall (99th centile).

Going by their growth curves DS will be taller than DD soon after he turns 2.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this. The DC have a really lovely relationship with DD being very caring with DS (most of the time), and I'm worried that him being taller will adversely affect that. On the plus side, though, he is a gentle boy who adores his sister.

Any experiences welcome!

I feel tremendously reassured, thanks everyone. The DC already get mistaken for twins now at 3 and 1 so expect we will be getting more of that!

I knew a lady with toddler twins, I suppose they were about 14 months.
The boy was enormous, as big as a 2yo. The girl was tiny dainty thing, could have passed for 8-9 months. So funny.

My DD caught up with my DS (13 months older) when they were 3 and 4. She is now the same height as he is and they are 8 and 9. They've been the same height for ages. It works well as they're friendly with each other and largely equals. But I expect at some point one of them will pass they other on the height front. I just don't know which one. It should be DS but his dad is on the shorter side, and my family has some very tall women in it. So we'll see!
