Cough at night caused by teeth?

Does anyone else out there have a wee one with a niggly cough that has been coming and going for months (DS had a niggly cough that's worse at night since August). Doctors have said chest and lungs are clear and don't know why he's coughing. Just finished and anti-biotic which helped for a couple of weeks but cough is back again (nose a little runny too) and we wondered if this was down to his teeth - anyone else experienced this?

Possibly. What about allergies?

DS is only 10 months and haven't checked for any allergies with doc yet - don't know if he's too young. Have pestered GP about cough and he hasn't suggested any allergies either - what did you have in mind? We have elevated his matress at one end, put a bowl of water in the room for moisture (radiator is off or very low) and used carvol capsules in hit cot to keep nose clear.

It might just be how he is,our baby ds is always snotty.

Do you have a good hv?

hi tyrone. he could be having a bit of reflux? my dd has this and she coughs a lot a night. i know you said that you've already raised the mattress. it needs to be at a 30 degree angle. imo i would go back to gp to ask him to check.....you must be knackered!!
