Help with 14 week old!

Okay so my dd2 is 14 weeks old, we've had a myriad of issues with feeding from reflux to poor latch to out right refusal to take anything leading to her losing weight and such. Things have slowly begun improving and she's now gaining, she will now take anywhere between 3-5 oz per feed which is such a vast change I'm stunned.

Now we have a new issue and it's got me stumped.
We have a play mat for her which she used to enjoy being on, looking at the danglys and stuff and she would lie there kicking about and cooing...
Roll on two maybe three days ago and what we now have is maybe up to a minute of her being okay led there then holy hell breaks loose and she screams the house down. She hasn't got gas, she isn't constipated, but boy is she unhappy being led down. I've tried talking gently to her when she's led there, I've tried playing, I've had her big sister come try play but nothing soothes her until she's either up in someone's arms or in her bouncer...

Now I know this seems trivial but it has confused me. So I guess my question is - has anyone else had this and fixed it? If so how or did it just fade out with age?
Got my hv coming out on Friday for a weight check up and such so I will be asking a professional too.

I'm not sure that I can help. What kind of cry is it? Shouty cry might indicate that she's just fed up with the mat and a shrill cry may indicate that she's in pain, possibly reflux?
I expect that your HV will have done advice. These babies are tricky little creatures though.

It's sort of shouty I'd say, I tried tummy time earlier and she was fine with that for a few minutes. She was diagnosed with reflux but since a change in milk and bottles she's been a different baby - no vomiting at all and so much happier on feeds!
It could purely be her being fed up and not liking being on the mat, will see what the HV says I guess.
Thanks for the reply :-)

Does she lay completely flat on the mat or is she propped up? DS used to hate his playmat, until I piled up cushions behind him to help him sit up a bit.

I tried both ways with and without cushions and she's not happy either way. We did get about a minute or two of her not screaming today and smiling at us then she decided it was enough, small progress haha.
It's just the dramatic change from loving it to not over night!
I'm guessing it's a phase maybe.
HV visiting tomorrow so I can ask her!
