My daughter is 2.5 years old and the number of 'mummy's a day is getting to ridiculous levels, surely this is the peak? It's driving me nuts! Yesterday she said 'mummy, mummy, mummy, mummy' (I look up) 'yes sweet heart?'. Nothing. She just smirks!
What's all this about, does she know at such a tender age she is mucking around with my sanity?
Please tell me the 'mummy' count will tail off soon.

I know the 'smirk' you are talking about. DD is 2.9 and she most definitely knows how to wind me up. If the mummy count tails off she will find something else to annoy you with / get your attention with. I'm realising it comes with the territory. The only thing I have found that slightly helps is more one-on-one time.

My two yr old isn't really talking yet so fake cry's, knocks his bike over and lays down next to it etc its pretty bloody annoying I've taken to just saying jump up and if you want x fo grab it yourself or wait and ill get it when I have time - helps a little but I really hope its a passing phase.

I see what you're saying feeling but I'm a SAH mum so she does get a lot of 1 to 1.
I know it might seem like a trivial thing but it's seriously driving me nuts! I don't even know why it's driving me nuts. Confused

Well, I've never seen a 15 year old that still does it ... just think, it won't be that many years before you'll be wishing she'd talk to you more!
