I work in a nursery and I would say as a general rule of thumb, larger babies are later movers. However my son (who is 9months and quite small) has no intention of any movement other than rolling, even though he gets very frustrated when he can't get something!!!I hope it happens soon as he used to be so happy all the time. Any suggestions?

Not in my experience. Both DSs 90+ percentile for weight but average length, both crawled before peers. All babies are different

dd above the 97th centile and ds above the 99th centile crawled and walked late

IME, yes. DD1 above 97th centile for weight and height. Sat up late (only at 10 months, reliably), crawled late (11 mths) and walked late.
