could she be teething / poorly - e.g. have a cold? My DS went right off his food for a good month while he had a nasty cough. it came back later.

Try not to stress too much. It's entirely normal. Give her what she likes and try to get some fruit in there. Toddlers are fussy, it's normal and better not to stress.

If she looks ill / losing weight it's worth getting her checked out. But it will probably pass in a week or two! Normal for their appetite to fluctuate.

DS2 wouldn't eat voluntarily at that age. We were under the care of a pediatrician, clinical psychologist, dietican and gastroenterologist (amongst others). Every week was filled with hospital appointments. It was a nightmare. We never envisioned ds2 ever stating, "I am hungry". Eventually, we found the issue and at 7 yo, he is tiny (he will never catch up the growth he missed), but he eats by himself and enjoys his food Smile.

Perhaps get her checked for allergy, but otherwise, as griselda says, if she's not loosing weight and you have no other concerns, don't worry too much. It's more important what children eat over a week/month than over a day.

tbh, also, if you have an extreme fussy eater, feed her things she will eat, in order to keep her eating. Not eating as a behaviour can reinforce itself, so let her eat what she will eat without a fight and pick your battles.

Good luck!

Give her what she will have and just add something new on the plate each meal. If she doesn't eat it don't mention it- one day she will eat a wider variety. Will she have something from each food group? Eg chicken, pasta, peas, yoghurt? If so she will be absolutely fine - don't worry Smile
