17mo starting to toddle with one turned out foot

My DS has been a fairly late walker, although also late crawling (very good fine motor skills). Been standing since 11months and did first steps about 3 weeks ago. As he's started taking more steps I've noticed that he keeps one foot turned out and also rolls his weight over the inside ankle.
Is this normal for a baby starting to toddle or should I get it checked out in case his tendons are tight or something similar?

My DD, now 2.4yrs, walked with one foot looking quite odd, it turned quite far in. To the point that when she started running she would trip herself up every other time. As she became more steady the foot seemed to turn in less and now although it still turns in a bit it has no effect on her ability to walk or run.
I would get your dr to have a look if you're concerned, but I decided to wait until the 2 year check and by that point it was ok.

I would get it checked, tbh. I'm sure it is quite normal, as the others have said, but in very rare cases may be a sign of ddh or dislocated hips. Have a Google for a charity called Steps, sure they will have a checklist of things to look for. Don't wish to be alarmist but a quick trip to the GP could put your mind at rest.
