I would second the scratch sleeves, really helped us in a similar situation. The company dispatches them really quickly as well.

Hi, have a look at the moisturiser you're using and make sure you keep the area dry after washing/ bathtime etc. We've tried 3 creams and def found doublebase the best (some really disagreed with him and made matters much worse). Use it every couple of hours. Can also use bepanthen if the skin is broken, and aveeno in the bath. We get aveeno & doublebase on prescription for DS. Socks on hands also helpful. Good luck.
PS have you tried the boots teething powders? They are fab. x

Scratch sleeves are brilliant - transformed our baby (and us too). there is hope!

Was just coming on to say Scratchsleeves. Bloody brilliant invention.

Emmollient in the bath and cream when the skin is still damp. More cream at every nappy change. Have you been referred to an eczema specialist? Does your GPs surgery have an eczema nurse? Maybe ask the receptionist who is the best GP to see for atopic disease, we've had very mixed responses.
