if I were you I would buy both and anymore that ou can find out about as I reckon different things work with diff. kids
My dd1 was soothed by Infacol but dd2 wasn't, we tried gripe water and that worked with dd2

breast or bottle fed ? Fennel tea may help.

Was breast - now bottle - the strange thing is she seems to have no problem bringing wind up, and I think "excellent - she will be comfortable now" the a little while later the legs will spring up and she'll wake up screaming bless her

was it as bad before the formula ? Could it perhaps not suit her or maybe even a different teat may prevent her taking so much in .

sorry - been feeding DD - bad from Day 1, breast and bottle - have tried different bottles/teats - just think she is a windy baby bless her - am hoping for a miracle cure I guess, and I don't think there is one of those. I'm a new mum and just hate to ser her in pain

I used both gripe water and infacol with my ds when he was little and it seemed to help. The other thing a friend of mine used was Colief .. which I think is a bit of a pain to use but she swore by it. Hope it gets better soon.

I swear by fennel tea. I had more success with that than with any bottle of 'medicine'. But don't get any old tea, get Dr Stuart Botanical from a health food shop as it's the strongest, I found.

Make it up by putting one bag in a bottle of boiling water overnight. The following morning put one or more teaspoonsful in each of her day's bottles and drink the rest yourself. It works wonders for wind generated in the bowel, whciih is what this sounds like from your 2nd post.

Also, every time you change her nappy, and also between times when you just play, take her by the ankles and bend her legs so that her knees go in to her tummy and her feetbent to her thighs, right up so that her back curves and her bum lifts slightly off the mat. Then straighten out and repeat a few times. Also bicycle her legs backwards and forwards. This will help to release wind via her bottom.

Try if you can not to put her straight onto her back after a feed. If she can have a few minutes on her tummy it will help her to release any wind, before turning her on to her back.
