my Lo has one ear which sticks out quite a lot.
I have heard about "Ear Buddies" which stick the ears back and shape the cartridge, but they look very fiddly. Does anyone know of anybody else using them successfully?

The first thing I said when I saw DD was "gosh, don't her ears stick out" I've never heard of these but wanted to bump for you (and me!) DD is now three and absolutely gorgeous, but she wanted pony tails or plaits all the time and her ears are very prominent!

I just googled them, they look great if your child is young enough. DD is obviously too old unfortunately. Someone told me when DD was really tiny that they knew a plastic surgeon who had taped back his child's ears at birth to stop them sticking out and it worked within a few weeks. I laughed at the time but this is obviously just a posher version!

beause the cartilige in the ears is very soft, it's easier to re-shape. Have also heard these work very well. I think you can get some sort of band that works round the head/ears too ?

SD - is it too late for your DD now ? My DH has a thing about his ears & is always examining DD1. He was relieved that DD2 has my ears !

How old is too old???

sunnydelight · 08/10/2006 16:47

From the website it looked like they were talking about "older" as 9 months plus so I assumed 3 (nearly 4) would be too old. If anyone knows different I would be delighted!
