my dd had no fear we tried tumble tots not to sucessful on the socialising front but she she learnt to climb safely and roll and it reassured me.

mine had no fear at that age - and, personally, I'd rather have a kid who wanted to give everything a go, than one who was overly cautious. It does mean needing to be extra-careful for the moment but I bet he'll learn lots of climbing etc skills more quickly - and fear will come, don't worry.

DS is 4yo and still very slow to get fearful; his idea of being scared is to say "That scared me!" Giggle, giggle....I tend to think it's a good thing, too, they can learn to be cautious without having to be fearful. DD on other hand is fearful of many things, and we have to be very sensitive to it or she'd be a basketcase.
