dinosaur, my dd gets threatened with her sleeping bag if she doesnt stay in bed during a daytime nap (ie getting out and playing instead) she dont like it and stays in bed!

A couple of weeks ago I took of side of cot, ds is 20m. He was fine at night and would stay in, he slept as normal. In the day time he wouldn't take his 1-2 hr nap though, he kept getting up.
He wouldn't sleep anywhere else either.
He then became very grumpy and would fall asleep at the dinner table!
This then made bed time harder as he wouldn't sleep as he had a late nap. One big viscious circle.

We have now put cot side back on (on Sunday)as I couldn't take it anymore!

We took DS out of his cot at just 2 because he climbed out - that was the start of his/our sleeping problems ....
So, when I was pg with DD we bought the BIGGEST cot we could find (huge american size) and she will stay in it till she leaves home ... no, seriously, she is now 2 and a half, we are moving around her 3rd birthday, will buy her a new bed etc etc either after we move or before if she works out how to climb out.
