Could teething cause lack of vocalisation/babbling

I have posted about this before but hoping for some reassurance whilst awaiting a hearing test. My dd has always been a fairly quiet placid baby but was definitely cooing etc up until about 4 1/2-5 months. Since then she has been v quiet communicating via crying and a sort of moaning with her lips shut if she's tired or wants something out of reach. She is nearly 8 months and is rolling, reaching, transferring things from hand to hand and pulling to stand although not crawling. The health visitor is aware and following her hearing test she will be having a full check up but I just wonder if all this could be due to her teeth, she has her bottom two but the top four are all coming through at once.

Could be her hearing. Does she have reflux? Coy can cause wax in the ears.

No she hasn't got reflux that I know of, has never been a sicky baby, it's like she has lost her voice, she will laugh if we tickle her or make silly faces but she no longer talks to herself.
