How would you encourage your 12 year old son to be a good role model to younger children

Ds needs to understand that he has to take this role seriously. He is looked up to by the younger choiristers and he has to stop pissing around. Otherwise he will just get into trouble all the time and then he will hate choir etc etc... Need to to enjoy the orle of senior chorister....

Does he enjoy it?

does he enjoy choir?

yes sometimes. It is what he does, it is a professional choir and for the most part he enjoys it/ gets on with it.

He like to muck around to - like any 12 year old

As a chorister he takes on more responsibility than he might otherwise do -

snorkle, he does get times to muck around and be a lad. I just want to encourage him to be responsible when he is in choir as he tends towards the mucking around!! especially when he is with a certain mate.

The choir master expects the older ones ot elad and they get most of the solos etc.
