.....you empty the crusts out of yesterday's lunchbox and realize that you made the sandwiches with bread with mould on it.

It might have been fine in the morning and developed over the course of the day

curiosity · 19/09/2006 08:07

no no, the mould developed overnight.

notasheep · 19/09/2006 08:08

bit of mould wont hurt them

curlew · 19/09/2006 08:09

No no it's not the mould - it's having children that don't eat crusts........!!!!!!!!!!!!

You mean you don't empty, wash and sterilise them as soon as you get home???

What a slattern..

(I only need to take lunch once a week, and my own lunchbox has been know to lurk in my briefcase for a whole 6 days )

Flamesparrow · 19/09/2006 11:13

I thought it was a hairy chest....

Bozza · 19/09/2006 11:16

clumsymum - mine tends to hang around in my desk drawer.

clumsymum · 19/09/2006 11:18

Flamesparrow

It must be well advanced mould to get mistaken for a hairy chest !!!

LOL!

DS1's lunchbox from yesterday is still at School. We'll see later what mouldy offerings are in it, that is if he remembers to bring it home tonight!

ginmummy · 19/09/2006 12:40

Bit of mould never harmed anyone! (except those with a penicillin allergy)

bleary · 19/09/2006 16:18

does that make me a super bad mummy for being forgetful and leaving the dirty real nappy that the nursery sent home in ds's bag for five whole days over a long weekend before finding it as we set off for nursery again?

Thomcat · 19/09/2006 16:58

I never, ever ate my crusts and quie often still don't!

Dead straight hair btw!

Oh and I pick the mold off the bread and then make her a sarnie!

CarlK · 19/09/2006 16:59

I want the bad daddy award
I snapped at dd last night that I was sick of asking her to do everything 8 million times and would she please drink her milk before dady got really grumpy.....
I had of course forgotten about the whole carton of orange juice she had wolfed down just before her bath.
She duly sucked down 3/4s of her milk and then said her tummy hurt. She made it to the bathroom before popping and covering everything in curdled milk/ orange juice.

Bad daddy.......

shazronnie · 19/09/2006 17:00

bleary - eeewwwwww!

Wilbur · 19/09/2006 17:02

Holy cow, bleary, that must have honked! Done similar myself though, once forgot to put nappies through wash before going away for a long weekend. Suprised the bucket didn't explode.

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 19/09/2006 18:18

Here you go Carl

GreensleevesTheParrot · 19/09/2006 18:26

TBH none of these sound very bad at all

My worst one was when ds1 was about 2 weeks old and I tried to fold up the buggy with him still in it . I just forgot he was still in there, I thought he was in the car.

theunknownrebelbang · 19/09/2006 18:29

oh I;ve done that too, Greensleeves. oops.
