Poo problems!!!!

I have a gorgeous 3 year old girl & from around 4 months she was always extremely constipated. This has never gone despite being put on movicol up to 4 sachets a day on doctors advise.
She would always stand in the corner no one can go near her & the poos would always be the size of a can of drink & would take her up to 3 days to do!
This has also affected her attending nursery as she gets so upset & uncomfortable.
The poos have recently softened & she is toilet trained as in if she needs a wee she will no to use the loo but still will poo in her knickers.
She is under the hospital but my biggest worry is she starts school in September & I dint want her being uncomfortable & upset & if she gets overflow she can be smelly something the other kids will notice.
We went right back to treats & star chart system to reward her if she goes on the loo & I bought a book to read to her only on the loo so she is calm & not stressed about the poo but nothing's working! I have 3 weeks to try & get her pooing on the toilet so sny help/advise welcome!
Thank you!!

It sounds like Encopresis...which needs medical help not star charts. It's not your fault or hers it's most unfortunate and there is help. Go back to the Gp asap. link

It sounds really hard for her - what does the hospital say? (BTW agree with previous poster who says go back to GP, it's what I would do.)

The hospital are considering a colonoscopy we go back in 24th September to see consultant again.trouble with gp is that whenever I take her they say up the movicol dose the only reason I was transferred was due to me kicking up a fuss otherwise she wouldn't been be under the hospital now!
Thank u :-)

We had problems with our dd withholding poo and Movicol did work for her, but someone on mumsnet mentioned a chap called Dr Anthony Cohn who specialises in kids and bowel/bladder problems. He's based in Hertfordshire I think but I found contact details for him after a bit of Googling and if you're not local it seems he does do Skype or phone consultations. My dd seems to have sorted herself out now (took 4 months mind) before I needed to get in touch but if she has any problems again I think I'd get in touch. Might be worth looking him up if you're not getting answers elsewhere.

Thank you I will definatly get in touch with him!
We have recently moved so will be joining new doctors hopefully get one that will do more than keep upping dose of movicol!
Thank you all :-)
