Just for fun.

I asked 3yo DD what Mummy does at work: "You read magazines!"

I'm a journalist. Hmm

My son thinks daddy drives trains because he goes to work by train x

DS thinks I make magic potions as I'm a scientist and work in a lab.

DD and DS say that Daddy 'looks after the naughty boys'. He is a prison officer. We told them this to avoid the 'my daddy is IN prison' situation we could face!

Mummys work is just 'smelly' apparently. I'm pub chef and may come home a bit whiffy.

I've just asked DS1 what I do at work - "miss me and DS2!" Grin

DD1 thinks I am in charge of her school & library - I work for a local authority miles away. All I do when she asks is 'meetings' & some writing. They get DHs job because he is a doctor.

We have a longstanding family joke that my husband and I work for MI5. This is because our actual work (admin/IT) sounded so dull* when we tried to describe it that we have all agreed it is a cover for the more exciting stuff we can't talk about.

*not just sounded
