Can you just give him little amounts of food at a time? To cut down on mess.

I have one (10yo) who shouts from the other room like a baby. All my other DC I easily trained to come talk to me, but no, this one has to summon like a helpless babe. Drives me crazy.

3 yr olds are quirky but would it reassure you to take him to HV to see if they find any of his behaviour worth further investigation?

He's extremely clever but won't show it unless he knows u, making school difficult as they have marked him down on his abilities although I know he casn do itg at home! Which is frustrating our hv is uselezz he has a spinal problem and she sent us strsight to a surgeon which we didn't need and not to a specialist! She also got social services involved when I had post natal depression and threatened to take baby away until I had seen a physcaitrist!

Do you have a partner helping you deal with things?

frankiebuns · 16/06/2014 16:13

I do but he works a lot to keep a roof over our head, he says there's somethin not right but we can't put our finger on it, its just frustrating,I dnt want to label him but if he has got a problem id rather him have help than leave it! My mum says oh he's just like your brother andi know what a mess he turned out like

labels can be helpful, too. How does your son manage at nursery?
