I was just looking at an email from Blooming Marvelous Baby Matters which gives the following milestone advice: "By the time your baby reaches four months of age, the babbling will be much more noticeable. You're likely to notice her trying to say words such as "bottle", although it may come out more like "bobo."

This isnt true is it, I cant really remember that far back but dont think he was doing anything other than random squeaks!

Figured so, get this "between five and nine months, big things begin to happen. Although some of the sounds may not be perfectly said, you will start to understand your child very well, even communicating through normal conversation." Err hello, no wonder I was delusional in my pregnancy baby daydreams with people spouting garb like that!

Well, DS2 is nearly 8mo - perhaps he'll be saying "Why, mother, I believe I have dirtied my nappy, be a dear and apply a fresh one to my little peach of a bottom" in a month or so then?
