Reward Chart - Reward Suggestions Please

I want to create a reward chart for my 4 yr old to reinforce positive behaviour and encourage simple chores. I'd like to have a reward for doing each behaviour e.g making your bed all week earns a trip to the park. Does anyone have suggestions on fun and preferably free or low cost rewards please? I'm on maternity leave so money is tight.
Thank you!

Are you going to make a star chart to show that he has done his chore every day? Getting a star is itself a small reward. How about inexpensive small plastic toys, lollipops, being allowed to sleep in a sleeping bag (if you have one), an extra 20 min of tv (if you limit tv time) or dvd, being allowed to play a game on mum's phone.

What about:

Sleeping with you and your partner one night
Having a bath all as a family
Having two stories at bed time
Having an ice-cream
Some sweets
A magazine
Baking cookies/cakes which then you can eat Grin
Watching a film together on the sofa
Having some friends around for playtime/dinner/lunch
A new book
Having a hot dog in IKEA (very cheap)
Going to the cinema (some cinemas have early birds sessions which are very cheap and you can even take the baby)

These are some I can think at the moment. Hope this helps

Our 3 yo gets to choose a magazine. We set it up so if he is good he gets one a month.

Feed the ducks
£1 to spend in the shop

I stocked up on some cheap toys to use as rewards, e.g. tub of playdough (80p), hotwheels cars (£1 each), colouring books, cheap craft kits from hobbycraft (about £2) etc, or I let DS choose a magazine when we are at the supermarket.

I like the baking idea though, DS loves baking and we would probably do it anyway, so using it as part of his reward chart is genius Grin
