Sometimes even falls back after sitting herself up.

It may be my fault as we have hardwood and worried she will bang her head even if have a blanket down.

What have I done wrong? :/

9 months is quite early to be crawling. DS crawled at 8.5 months but was earlier than most other babies we knew at the time. DD didn't move at all until 10.5 months.

I wouldn't worry too much :)

DS2 is 13 months and only just starting to crawl. Didn't sit till 9 months. Is only just sitting himself up too. Wouldn't worry.

Nothing at all. My DS didn't crawl until 11 months. He's now 2 1/2 running, jumping, climbing etc so please don't worry.

My dear son only started crawling at 10.5 months 4 weeks ago. As soon as the Christmas tree was up he was off:-). In 4 weeks he has progressed to standing, cruising and getting into all sorts of mischief. Enjoy the peace lol.

My son didn't crawl until 13 months. He was a typical lazy boy, would rather be carried around that bother trying! x

my dd figured out how to crawl two weeks after learning to walk aged 1. wouldn't worry about it.

MildDrPepperAddiction · 07/01/2014 17:19

That's normal. Hardwood floors have nothing to do with it Grin

Ihatepeas · 07/01/2014 18:47

Please don't worry! Sounds totally normally to me, I have been a nanny for 20 yrs and have know many babies who waited till well over one to crawl. Your dd will crawl when she is ready. Just enjoy you little one.. Trust me moving babies are overrated!
