DS2 (3rd child) seems to wreck everything, whereever he goes and I just cant keep up!

I never used a fridge lock with my other two, but I am promptly going down the shops to buy one. Just found him sitting in the kitchen, fridge door open, quietly tucking into a yogurt and a punnet of tomatoes, and let me tell you - he's not the tidiest of eaters . While I was cleaning that lot up, he was diving into my cupboards dragging out the packets of pasta and spaghetti all over the floor. While I tidied that up, he was busily emptying my other cupboard of all my bowls and plates . So I put him on the patio.

When I emerged after cleaning up the havoc in the kitchen he had found a piece of chalk in the garden, brought it into the house and was drawing all over the wooden floors . Well, at least that comes off easily!

The other day I found him sitting on the computer table, on the keyboard using my mobile phone

My others weren't like this and I have this awful feeling he is just revving up

So come on all you parents of 'home wreckers', any tips?

No advice, but lots of sympathy, I had two like this. I remember crying down the 'phone to my mum "I really don't know what to do with them anymore" .

cupboard and fridge locks

pens and scissors (my toddler's favourite item) well out of reach.

It's worse with dd3 as there just ARE lots of pens and scissors and glue available for the other dds. hard to keep things so the others can get to their belongings but dd3 can't.

Watching with interest.
DS (baby No2) is only 8 months and I found him in the fridge the other day
Already threatening to walk and eyeing up all sorts of things his sister never noticed!

start praying .
My ds (my first-what a ) is the same. I don't think I've sat down for 3 years.

The only way we coped was to keep busy during the day-that, for us, meant lots of visits to parks, walks, play centres etc.
Though I appreciate that yours is one of three so that may be more difficult for you?
When we were forced to stay in I used to throw all the cushions in a pile on the floor and let him go mad on those!

btw-my ds has, after years of disappearing with all the phones in the house, worked out how to dial the speaking clock. at any given point in the day you'll suddenly hear "at the third stroke..." and you know where he's hiding

Put him on ebay

rabbitrabbit PMSL at the speaking clock. Clever chap!

Its that silence isnt it?..... even DS1 goes 'Its gone quiet... what's he up to?"

There are times when I've never felt fear like when I realise that its suddenly gone very quiet and I don't know which room he's in.

The other weekend I was doing something in the kitchen and ds was in the garden. He kept telling me that he was playing at being a firefighter (have had to convince him that kicking down the front door every time we come home is not what they do) when I suddenly heard the pat pat pat of water dripping. When I looked up he had the hosepipe in his hand, had managed to turn it on and was flooding the conservatory

lol at your ds1!
