Nine months and one week. First wobbly steps taken this afternoon. Grin

bluecheeseforbreakfast · 13/12/2013 21:28

10 months. But I wouldn't say it is a good thing, his mind is the same as a 10 month old whilst his body is flying around the room!

lookdeepintotheparka · 13/12/2013 22:33

DS was 15 months and DD was 20 months

MedusaIsHavingaBadHairday · 13/12/2013 22:40

12m, 9m, 15m and 26m!!!!!!

TwinklesTheXmasFairy · 13/12/2013 22:43

DD1 was 10m and DD2 was really late at 23m- had all the checks on her, she was fine, but why move when your older sister will get you everything you want....

TheGervasuttiPillar · 14/12/2013 00:25

8m first steps, walking at 10m. The next two, later, maybe 11-13m, but cannot remember for sure. Various differences in their development. The early walker was not an early reader, but he is now a good reader etc.

sydenhamhiller · 14/12/2013 00:37

12 m, 12m and 17 months. Echoing poster above: why walk when you have 4 family members doing your bidding?

Jinglejohnsjulie · 14/12/2013 00:52

DS could walk around the furniture at 9 months. He got around but bery slowly. Both started walking independently at 12 months.

both walked fully independently at 9 months. We've never met a child who walked earlier. I think it may be genetic as I and both brothers were 9/10m.

Ladyhawke127 · 14/12/2013 11:38

My son was 14.5-15 months old. They all get there. He didn't crawl till he was 14 months old either.

bluecheeseforbreakfast · 14/12/2013 11:44

I agree that it's probably genetics, dp has a huge family, they all walked at 9/10 months.

2 exactly. .she has low tone

CockyMcChicken · 14/12/2013 12:39

14 months, 17 months and 12 months.

Middle child (ds) crawled at 6 months but refused to walk!

JoinTheDots · 14/12/2013 12:40

2, she has hypermobility

JaneEyreTheRedNosedReindeer · 14/12/2013 12:43

14 months .
I was 18 months, apparently. And a bottom shuffler!

Ferguson · 14/12/2013 18:42

18 months, but he was tall and waited until he could do it, without falling over.

Lullabyte · 14/12/2013 18:48

DS was walking, fully independent and confident at 8 1/2 months. It was a bit freaky, tbh, because no one we ever met had known a child that walked so early.

He was also properly running at 10 months (I blame his older brother who taught him the joys of playing 'chase'!)

highlandbird · 14/12/2013 18:53

DS1 was 18 months, DS2 has just started cruising at 7 months!

DH walked at 9 months....I think DS2 might be taking after his dad!
Youngest walker I've come across was 7 months Shock

tinselkitty · 14/12/2013 18:57

12 and half months

Sneezecakesmum · 14/12/2013 18:57

9 and 10 months. But early walking and physical development does not equate with future intellectual ability, so don't worry about late walkers.

rachyconks · 14/12/2013 19:01

DD taking her first steps this last week or so and is 13 mths nxt week

stargirl1701 · 14/12/2013 19:01

DD was 13 months.

Womnaleplus · 14/12/2013 19:03

DS1 crawled at 12 months and then walked at 16.

DS2 started crawling at 9 months and has since turned into an absolute nutter pulling himself up here, there and everywhere and climbing up steps etc (this is only three weeks later). I strongly suspect he will be walking before long.
