He has been, although maybe wet once a week , but for the last week has wet every night. There is no change to home or school and he's happy. We do the usual no late drinks, lifting etc. wondering whether to do night nappies or dr.

What would you do? Its getting me down changing beds every day before work. He doesn't seem bothered by it

it's more common than people think, he is most definitely not alone!!
in fact a lot of boys still wet their beds regularly when 8 or even older.

talk to GP and get help with bladder training advice, night alarm etc.

when he is 7 he can me prescribed Desmomelt (Desmopressin) - which is safe, as in not addictive and doesn't effect their health.

could be that he is a bit colder?

also best to avoid any drinks that have a diuretic effect, especially in the evenings: hot chocolate, cola, tea, blackcurrant juice.

hippychick sells really good washable waterproof sheets (they go between the bed and regular bedsheet)

DS was not dry at night until about 8.

He didn't drink enough during the day, meaning he was thirsty after school. We were advised to let him drink a small cup of water in one go, to work/train his bladder.
