13 week old still up all night!

Help... I desperately need any tips for getting rid of baby farts!
My 13week old is still up 5+ times a night mostly because she seems to have a sore tum and is farting all night :-(
On a good night she goes down between 7 and 8pm then wakes for a feed at 10pm, 1.30am and 5am.
However, our typical nights at the moment are up more than asleep - every hour or so!
I feel shattered and just hate seeing her in pain. I feel pretty useless as nothing seems to sooth her.
Any tips would be much appreciated!

I'm very sorry to hear that it must be awful for you Sad and for her!!

I'm no expert on this but I noticed my little boy stopped trumping as much when he got moved onto comfort milk for other reasons.
He didn't get an upset tummy that often with it though but sometimes he did.

He has aptamil comfort milk for colic and constipation and he's barely trumped since!! Not like he used to anyway Smile think it's because of the reduced lactose, maybe the lactose upsets her tummy?

It she is bottle fed! I just assumed then, my apologies!

Oh dear op.

I breastfeed and have had to cut out all green leafy veg for this reason. Little one was up all night trumping. I stick now with the rule that if makes me guff it makes baby guff.

I'm sure you're winding but if you're breastfeeding it might be what you're eating.

For what it's worth my little person didn't stop waking up loads until about 15 weeks. Might just need to eat.

Good luck.

Thanks for suggestions!
I'm bf-ing and have an almost dairy free diet myself.
Gw - several people have suggested I cut out various foods but I don't know where to start! How did you find out gl veg was the culprit?

I'd read it could be a possibility and on days I only really ate meat there was no wind and then I ate some thai food which had broccoli in and the whole night was spent listening to wind :)

I'm off dairy as it makes dc throw up so I'm really on the atkins diet a lot of the time.

Hopefully it'll just pass. Mine still has wind but seems to sleep through it better. You could try gripewater if you are ok with using it?

Our bf dd really struggles with trapped wind

What has been necessary for us is tummy massage and leg pumping. Basically it helps move the farts through.

We looked it up on YouTube to see how to do it. We were doing it twice a day in the afternoon and evening.

Important that you only go clockwise as that is the direction waste moves through the intestines.
