3 month old increasingly vomity

My 12 week old baby has started posseting / small vomits a lot over last week or so. She hasn't done it much until now so it's quite a new thing.

Anyone else experienced this at this age? I thought things like this went away at 12 weeks, not started?

Any other symptoms that weren't there before? Eg, constipation/diahrhea, skin problems, worsening temperament?

If she's happy in herself and still putting on weight there shouldn't be an issue, but if things are generally worse in other ways it might be worth a trip to the GP.

My ds went through phases, it tended to happen when he learnt a new skill, are you maybe holding him differently now he is stronger, or using a new sort of bouncer?

No other symptoms although she has dropped a percentile. HV said its normal as she's dropped to the same percentile as her height and looks very well.

Hmm I guess it could be a developmental thing but not aware of anything.

Am going to cry cutting out different foods from my diet.

I'm sure she's fine - she may just have been boosting your supply and now that there's more milk there's a little too much. If she's sicking happily (not distressed) then she's fine. Also, sicking goes on for months - long after they're on to solids.

Some babies just posset a bit more than others. How is she when she feeds, is she calm or does she pull away, arch her back, cry? Is she happy lying flat or does she seem uncomfortable?

My dd got much worse before she got better. She nearly 2 now and can still occasionally bring a bit of breakfast if she's eaten too much. If she seems happy enough try not to worry

I have a 13 week old doing the same. He is feeding more and moving more so I put it down to a combination of this. He doesn't seem distressed in any way so just think he is a little greedy sometimes so a bit comes up or he is moving arms and legs and head a lot more which will also bring a bit up....

Thanks all, I feel very reassured. She's happy and calm so I'll try not to worry!

Sounds like she's fine, some baby's are just happy chucker-uppers
