3 Month old Being Fussy - Crying When Picked up HELP!

My 3 Month old DD is being so fussy! She'll fuss in her bouncer for her bottle, soon as i pick her up she cries like mad and cries so much she won't take her bottle. Soon as you put her down she's fine, little moany but nothing like the screaming she does when picked up. I really don't understand why! Shouldn't it be the other way around and she cries when i put her down, which she was doing last week?! She's also got two teeth coming through and has been teething for a few weeks now, could that have anything to do with it? I have to hold her and walk around with her for about 20 mins until she's calm enough to take her bottle, even after having calpol and bonjela! Taken her to the doctors and they said she was fine! She also does it to her dad too and any other friends or family. I'm hoping it will pass in a week or so but it's just so horrible when she does it, scares the life out of me.. Any suggestions/advice?

Welcome to babies: lots of unknowns. One comfort is that at this age they go through a growth spurt which means all previous things (feeding, sleep etc, behaviours) can go out of the window for a while. Keep talking to friends with other kids and hv. Just keep trying different things and also maybe add another ounce in the bottle..maybe hungry? Teething can have everything to do with it cos it can affect teeth, tummies and nappies. You'll get there, don't worry. Lots of love..been there x x

Could you try feeding her in her bouncer, as soon as she wants her food?
I know it's not ideal but it might work for a few days and it means you don't have to move her.

These stages do pass quite quickly, usually. She'll be different again next week. Smile

DS has been doing this recently (also 12 weeks) and I gave up and fed him in the bouncer! He seems to be getting out of it now. Don't think he's teething (not that I can see in his mouth Hmm), assumed it was just another of his weird baby things. Hope it passes for you soon! Smile
